Answer #1

Option 1. Insects are more closely related to sharks than flatworms.

Depending on the the level of cellular organisation and symmetry, animal kingdom has been divided into

a. Radial

b. Bilateral.

Bilaterally symmetrical animals are divided into phylum based on presence of coelom - which include Platyhelminthes ( acoelomate) , Arthropoda (Coelomate) and Chordates ( Coelomate).

Now, Shark falls under chordates and insect falls under Arthropoda , both of which are Coelomate, where as flatworms fall under Platyhelminthes who are acoelomate.

thus, presence of Coelomate proves that insect are more close to shark than flatworms.
