Comment: Allopatric speciation is also referred to as geographic speciation. It results when a population is separated by physical barrier such as mountain, desert or river.

Parapatric speciation occurs when population are not separated by geographical barrier. It is extremely rare.

Anagenesis is an evolutionary process. It is a mechanism in which one species evolves into another by evolutionary changes.

Sympatric is the speciation that occurs without physical separation of member of population. Sympatry is a term used to describe population that exist in the same place at the same time.
