Anaerobic respiration is a process in which involve the production of energy .

1)the bacterial survive without oxygen eg (clostridium tetani ). Tetanus bacilli I'd a bacteria are obligatory anaerobes .anaerobic respiration by bacteria include step like Glycolysis (in which glucose molecule breakdown in form of pyruvate 3-C) two ATP molecule and also Two NADH 2 molecule.

2)The enzyme play a major role in metabolism decarboxylation of pyruvic in the presence of enzyme pyruvate decarboxylase,co enzyme thiamine pyrophosphate and Zn as cofactor so that produce acetaldehyde . Ethanol dehydrogenase enzymes also important.

3) Anaerobic respiration by microbes acetaldehyde accept atoms from NADH2 in the presence of ethanol dehydrogenase one glucose molecule produce two molecules of ethyl alcohol. And ethanol is lost so large amount of energy goeas waste.
