Answer #1

The study of animal behavior is a cornerstone of experimental psychology, shedding light on how animals interact with each other and their environments, and why they behave the way they do. By studying animal behavior, humans can learn more about their own behavior—a field known as comparative psychology.

Other species tells more about how to maintain the ecology of our planet and a balance witj other species. When we gain insight into animal behavior, we are in a stronger position to understand vexing conservation problems, such as how to save endangered species, assess environmental quality, design nature preserves, and evaluate the importance of human-related threats to survival in otherwise fit animals.

these trees can show how similar or different species are from each other. the vertical line on the left is the start and how far to the right each sequence is from the left line or a branch point indicates increasing dissimilarity. so if your sequence is close to the the left line it is similar, but if it is at the end of a long arm on a branch and falls to the right it is less similar. a)...

What do you think really sets humans apart from other primates? 2. What do we still share with our primate relatives? (These can be biological or behavioral. Think back to our lecture slides about anatomy, social systems, adaptation and behavior)

The group of organisms humans belong to is relatively small. All living organisms share a common ancestor, as evidenced by the commonality of DNA and ribosomes. Humans are not a unique form of life. Our ability to learn about the natural world does provide us an advantage over many species, especially if we use this advantage wisely. Antibiotics are prevalent in bacteria and fungi, whereas other drugs are derived from plants. Humans are not the most common species on Earth....
