Explanation :- In angiosperms the female gametophyte is embryo sac which produce egg cell and found inside the Ovule.

The Ovule or megasporangium is the part of the ovary containing embryo sac and developing into seed after pollination and fertilization. It is the female sex organ.

In angiosperms gynoecium or pistill represent the female reproductive structure. The gynoecium consist of carpels or megasporophylls.

Each carpel consist of a basal ovary , a middle style and an upper stigma. The ovary bears one or more ovule which contains embryo sac or female gametophyte.
