Describe how the H4 and M4 isozymes of LDH are differentially suited for their purposes.
Answer :- H4 isozymes predominently found in heart whereas M4 in skeletal muscle. H4 isozymes of LDH involved in aerobic oxidation of pyruvate where as M4 isozymes are involved in anaerobic metabolism and pyruvate reduction in liver and skeletal muscle. H4 is active at low concentration of pyruvate thus it presents in tissue with low concentration of pyruvate, which is heart tissues. M4 on otherhand higher activity at high concentration of pyruvate which favour anaerobic metabolism hence found in tissues like skeletal muscles.
Describe how the H4 and M4 isozymes of LDH are differentially suited for their purposes.
Generally, describe how the sequencing data was analyzed for differential gene expression. How was it determined that genes were differentially expressed using DESeq? 2. 3. At the end of the DESeq pipeline, you got a list of 1000 differentially expressed genes. Which command would have changed the number of differentially expressed genes? How would it have done so?
