TH morgan was a American scientist who observed white eyed mutant male in the group of red eyed drosophila then he crossed white eyed male with pure red eyed female and observed following progeny

As red colour trait allele is found on x chromosome and it is dominant over white eyed allele trait

Only single copy of allele present on one x chromosome is sufficient to produce red eye color.
