The answer will be 16000 (Option a).

Explanation: As the resources is unlimited, here exponential growth rate will be applicable.

We know that, x(t) = x0 x (1 + r)t where, x(t) = population size at time t, x0 = Initial population size, t = time span, r = exponential growth rate

Given, x0 = 1000, t = 4, r = 1

So, x (4) = 1000 x (1 + 1)4 = 16000

Second Question:

The answer will be doesn't change as the population gets larger (option a).

Explanation: Per capita population growth rate, r in exponential growth remains constant regardless of the population size. Thus, we can ignore options b, c & e. Further, growth rate is always not its maximum level. So, we can ignore option d also. Thus, correct answer will be option a as r doesn't change as the population gets larger.
