Amphibians are first true tetrapods.

An amphibians is a vertebrate with backbone.

Amphibians are cold blooded, which means that their body temperature changes with respect to the surrounding.

They can live in water, breathing with the help of gills ir on land, breathing with the help of lungs and skin.

Transition of life on land changes both external and internal features to live on land.

By skin which prevent liss of water. An eardrum development to seperate the external ear from middle ear. A tail that disappear in adult stage. Eyelids that allow them to adapt to vision outside of the water.

As aquatic tetrapods began their transition to land, several skeleton changes are happened which allowed for movement and respiration on land.

1. Opening of otic wall of the braincase can be considered as paedomorphic feature for tetrapods.

2. Terrestrial hearing with the development of a tympanum within an otic notch.

3. Dermal bones changes in skull of aquatic tetrapods.

4. Loss of dorsal pectoral girdle bones, which permits a large degree of movement fir the shoulder.

5. Transition of fins to limbs, which occurred in Endoskeleton.

6. Previous tetrapods had partially adapted to land but the novel ability to bend its limbs and propel forward in terrestrial environment.
