phosphorus - components of energy compound and is needed for successful respiration and cell division .


potassium - concentrated in meristem and responsible for activating some enzyme .


Nitrogen - components of chlorophyll , proteins and some amino acid .


Boron - Functions unknown but may be involved in hormone response , nuclei acid synthesis , cell cycle regulation and membrane function .


sulfur - components of some amino acids .


Manganese - required to activate some important enzyme .
