Answer #1

Ans 1 ) Connective tissue forms tendons (Tendons connects muscle to bone).

Ans 2) Simple squamous epithelium lines the interior of the blood vessels (endothelium).

Simple cuboid is incorrect. It lines Pancreatic ducts, salivary ducts, etc.

Ans 3) Stratified squamous epithelium will provide maximum protection especially in the regions which are more prone to wear and tear (It is present in the skin too which provides protection from minor scratches or abrasion). Stratified columnar epithelium is usally present in ducts or glands and its role is to secrete.

Rest of the options are incorrect because they consist of only a single layer which is not enough to provide protection.

Ans 5) The myelin main function is to increase the speed of conduction of electrical impulse and also to protect and insulate the axons.

The synapse is present between the two neurons (Between axon terminals of neuron 1 and dendrites of neuron 2). Its role is to communicate between pre-synaptic (sending impulse) cell and post-synaptic (receiving impulse) cell.

Ans 6) The main difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell is that Nucleus is absent in Prokaryotic cell and nuclues is present in Eukaryotic cell. The another difference is that, Prokaryotic cells divide by binary fission Wheras Eukaryotic cells divide by mitosis.
