Case study : The Colorado Health Department was notified of an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness in four counties. No deaths occurred, but 30% of the patients were hospitalized. Cultures from the hospitalized cases yielded Salmonella enterica serotypes Javiana, Typhimurium, and Infantis.
The outbreak of gastrointestinal illness is caused by outbreak virus which is spread from places to places. There are no exact vaccine or medicine to remove those bacterias. The chances of those bacterial groups which could lead to death are very minimal, which means people with poor immunity levels are affected the most. Salmonella group bacterias are present in bad stagnant water. When they get consumed by humans, they can create gastroillness. The important feature of this bacterial group is that it is contageous, so when a person gets affected,he/she must be isolated as soon as possible to prevent further spreading of the bacterial infection. Typhimurium is a bacterial group present in the intestinal lumen. Lumen is the opening region of the intestine. The create molecules by tranferring particles like phosphate groups and protect the toxic bacterial components from external environment.Infantis is a friendly bacterial group which is mostly present in oral cavity areas.
