Answer #1

Definitely, it is the Watson's ideas that one could resonate with. In fact, it is believed that Titchener's concept of experimental psychology has not be able to survive the field after his death. Though every therapy and thought that psychology is based off on Titchener's idea, it is Watson's belief of behavioralist theory that stands out prominently at every stage and phase, be it an individual's life or an individual's conflict. Everything depends on understanding self behavior as well as the behavior of a person in a situation; an individual's behavioral conditioning also affects the situation as well as the outlook of any situation equally. Without an understanding and observation of behavior to constitute data, there would be no further evaluation like consciousness or mental state to provoke an investigation or study about the collected data. It is Watson that creates a base while Titchener is a cherry.
