Answer #1

People in the organization can be bought together by recognizing their shared interests & affirming a common identity through value driven planning. Values what we believe to be important & hold meaning direct us in assessing the world & how we act in it. At times we are not clear about our values as to which one might be in conflict & which one matter to us. This is applicable for both groups as well as individuals. Often people with common interests have not articulated the values that guide them. There can be a blurry notion of what members of the group consider to be important. This can lead to a vague sense of direction or misunderstanding.

Often groups have a disconnection between their values& what they are experiencing. Helping the groups to clarify its value can focus on disconnect revealing the opportunities for action. The group can draw upon its values & assessment of situation in order to craft vision for its future.

Hence the group must always have a shared vision that becomes a standard to measure their efforts against.
