Read below article and respond to it, give your opinion? Group conflict is an interpersonal problem that occurs in a group. It can have an impact on the result of teamwork which can lead the group doesnt do well at optimum levels. Group conflicts can be caused when people in the group dont have the same idea on perceptions, goals, and values of the team. Such conflicts can make group member upset. Therefore, people can not work together efficiently and dont share goals that can be achieved in the team environment. The most difficult to implement in solving the group conflict is select the best solutions. People have their own opinion of best solutions. However, the best solution can be only one. It means whatever the best solution is, there still some people who are not satisfied with. However, there three main decision-making methods have their advantages and disadvantages. For the method of authority, the leader makes the final decision. It is an efficient method while it makes group member feel they have too little influence in the group so that they will lose their work enthusiasm. Majority rule is based on votes. It is efficiency because of the decision making by group members. But, members who dont vote with the majority may feel left out. Consensus is the most satisfying method in decision making in a group. Though it can satisfy and adjust to cater most of group members, it is time-consuming. It can secure the cooperation and participation of all members in implementing. It is the best way to settle a solution if leaders ant to satisfy all members in the group. When implementing the 6-steps, I have.to overcome some challenges. For example, when selecting the best solution, it is hard to apply the decision-making methods. The concern that the leader has might how to balance problem solving efficiency and team members enthusiasm. Also, the leader has.to give members chances to make their voice be heard which give them a sense of belonging. Therefore, inorder to make a solution which can be seemed as the best, the leader should weight the value of the decision, then get a suitable decision-making method. If the problem is not a big problem like changing the fax machine in the office, group members may have their own opinions. In this situation, the majority rule can be used because the minority can get used to the new machine later even they dont want since it is not a long-term upsetting ssue

Group conflicts are the conflicts which occur in between the team members of a group in the workplace . The main reason for this conflicts is disagreement regarding any topic. Some people will agree and others won't .which ends up in argument. Hence no work is done and it's affects the productivity.

Leader should use a democratic leadership style and should listen to everyone one ,take suggestions from everyone and then decision made by counting the majority using consensus in decision making.
