Sleeping is an altered state of consciousness that all humans experience. In fact, humans spend almost 1/3 of their lives asleep. Knowing this, please respond in writing to the following questions: “Why do you think we need to sleep? More personally, how much sleep do you need? If you don’t get enough sleep, what are the consequences for you?” (Please don’t try to deprive yourself of sleep just to answer this question!).

Answer #1

Our body is constantly working internally with so many chemical reactions going on and a series of involuntary functions. In order to smoothly functioning our mind needs rest so that it can do the specific functions with ease.

I sleep on an average about 7-8 hours and i need a sleep of a minimum 6 hours to align myself properly with my daily routine.

If i am not able to get enough sleep most of the time i get headache and feel lethargic all the day. Even i am not able to fully concentrate on my studies. There are times when before a day from assessment i used to awake all night and on next day i was not able to use what i studied and find difficulties in mathematical calculations.

At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change.
