Answer #1

Answer- option a,b and c. Enzymes are the biomolecules ( proteins) which speed up the rate of a chemical reaction. It lower the activation energy ( the energy needed for chemical reactions to occur) of the reaction. The reactants taking part in the chemical reaction are called substrates. They bind to the enzymes at a specific site called active site and form a enzyme- substrate complex called transition state. This state is converted into enzyme- product state. Finally, the product is released from the enzymes.
