Enterokinase is an enzyme secreted by the duodenum cells of the stomach which activates the pancreatic proenzyme or zymogen Trypsinogen to Trypsin . Trypsin further activates the enzyme chymotrypsinogen to chymotrypsin . Pepsinogen is a proteolytic enzyme secreted by the chief cells of the stomach , activation of pepsinogen to pepsin is brought about by HCl .
