single stranded DNA- the given information portrays the presence of thymine. Thymine present only in DNA and in place of thymine, uracil is present in RNA.

Then it is single stranded, because the paring bases are in unequal composition. If it is double stranded adenine pairs with thymine should be equal i.e, if adenine is 10% and thymine should also be 10%. But in the given data adenine is 40% and thymine 10%. It is same for guanine and cytosine and it is also in unequal composition.

Presence of thymine denotes it is DNA and unequal composition of bases indicates that it is single stranded. So it is neither a RNA nor a double stranded nucleic acid.
