Answer #1

Introns are the non coding portion of a DNA sequence that is removed from pre-mRNA. The coding portion in a DNA sequence is called as Exons. Exons must be joined together to form a coding RNA i.e. proper functional mRNA. This process of removal of Introns and joining of Exons is called as Splicing. It occurs in pre-mRNA and inside nucleus with the help of small non - coding RNA and some Splicing factors (assemble to form spliceosome). So, the correct option to this question is the last option.
