2)Ans:-8086 has a segment memory architecture that can only directly address 64 kb data at a time.it has 20 bit address bus and due to its architecture it only contains 1 MB of Memory.Pentium has 32 bit address bus size and it contain upto 4GB of memory .memory address define in 8086 in a hexa decimal address. were as Pentium contains 32 bits processor size.

Pentium processor has 3 operating mode

i)real address mode:-using a single instruction we can switched to protected mode or rest.

ii)Protected mode:-it is used in virtual memory and multiple programming.

iii)System management mode:-it is used for for fast resumption with a power distribution management.

8086 processor

8086 designed to operate 2 modes minimum and maximum.the clock speed of the microprocessor varies between 5,8,and 10 MHZ for different version,and its genral based managment.

these are the architecture and difference between 8086 and Pentium.
