Lamina of vertebra is a part which connects transverse process and spinous process. It is marked in the given figure.

Each vertebrae has 2 transverse processes(yellow color) and a spinous process in the centre(green colour). Area between these two is called lamina of vertebrae. So there are 2 lamina on both sides of spinous process.

Intervertebral Disc at Thoracic level Select an intervertebral disc at the thoracic level of the vertebral column.There are 12 thoracic vertebra in the thoracic region.

Cervical -- 7

Thoracic --12

Lumbar -- 5

Sacral -- 1(5 fused)

Coccyx -- 1

Intervertebral disc lies between 2 adjascent vertebra in the vertebral column. They are fibrocartilaginous cushions which protect vertebrae and brain.
