Answer #1

Codaminace in the genetics states is alternate to mendel's rule where in that there are alles which is one will be dominant to other recessive alle but in Codaminance is when both alles of the genotypes are seen in the particular organism or phenotypic form.

a) the genotype of the black chicken will be : BB.

b) the genotype of the white chicken will be : WW

c) where it codaminant and there are same alles in them there will be no masking of recessive alles in them so the genotype of erminette chickens will be : BW.

d) Now there will be punnet square for the f1 generation from their parental phenotype and genotype

if two erminette chickens where crossed the probability will be that:

a) they would have black chicken probability will be : 25%

b) they would have white chicken probability will be : 25%.

c) they would have erminitte chicken if black chicken and white chicken are crossed the probability will be : 100%

parents: BB* WW

The occurrence of the NN blood group genotype in the US population is 1 in 400, consider NN as the homozygous recessive genotype in this population. You sample 1,000 individuals from a large population for the MN blood group, which can easily be measured since co-dominance is involved (i.e., you can detect the heterozygotes). They are typed accordingly: BLOOD TYPE GENOTYPE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS RESULTING FREQUENCY M MM 490 0.49 MN MN 420 0.42 N NN 90 0.09 Using the...
