28) Brain prefers glucose as energy source but can use ketone bodies. (True)

Ketone bodies are generated in a process called as ketogenesis and is a result of breaking of fatty acids. It is generated in liver and is water soluble. Mostly during fasting when the blood sugar level diminishes brain uses ketone bodies as alternative source of energy.
