Answer #1

Positive psychology is a field within psychology that studies what makes life worth living and that people want to lead a happy and fulfilling life. It focuses on the strengths and opportunities available for people by staying positive and looking to improve every time. It’s all about giving hope and staying positive in order to experience life as one faces it thus making it more meaningful and positive. Being positive would help the social worker remain hopeful of positive outcomes because they would constantly help people who they work with to go back to their better memories, strengths and support systems in order to gain enough positivity. They would also help people stay positive by overcoming negative thoughts that would prevent the progress. This act of being positive about the person and outcomes would make the interaction between social worker and the clients very effective.
