The unique anatomy of females place them at risk of STD than in men. Some infections like Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea does not wxhibit externally visible symptoms like that of in males. Females often get confused of their symptoms. Thet normally have discharge but it is confused for yeast infection due to itching and burning. The genital ulcers that apppear in males are not easily appear in females because they occur in the vagina and are not visible like that of sores on penis of a male. Moreover, the females give birth to children and pass some of the diseases like Syphilis, Herpes and AIDS.
