Answer #2

Data:

v = 250 km/h

u = 22 km/h

x = 750 m

Transform:

750m * (1km/1000m) = 0.75 km

a)

v= u+ 2ax

(v2 - u2)/ 2x = a

(222 - 2502)/ 2(0.75) = a

a = -41344

b)

v = u + at

(v - u)/ a = t

(22 - 250)/ (-41344) = t

t = 5.51*10-3 s
