The silos organizations are those who don't interact and shares information in a group or does work by their own experience and knowledge. These types of organizations are isolated try to work in their own zone. The purpose was to organized division of labor. The information technology company can be a good example as it gives an option of work from home, or sometimes they have such working hours that make employees less active to their social life and then it becomes their behavior. The pros of this type is they are more directed and focused in their job and cons are they become less flexible and lethargic.

The pyramid organizational structure is as the name explains head or CEO on the top then top management, manager or middle management, then operational and in the last workers or functional management. The purpose is very clear leader will lead and responsibility will be passed on. The company which follow this structure are traditional and small firms like Bakery and Coffee Shops.The pros are chain of command, quick decision and clear vision. The cons are less flexible, poor communication and less participation of everyone.

The flat organizational structure is nowadays in trend and need. As the market is very competitive, to involve everyone and choosing innovative, unique and creative ideas can give you a chance as competitive advantage. There are no levels of management.The pros of this structure are more participative environment, high morale in employees, more responsible in work. The cons are confusion in making decisions, issue of partiality, delay in decision.
