A muscle twitch is a single contraction of a stimulated muscle. Muscle twitches caused by stress and anxiety are often called “nervous ticks.” They can affect any muscle in the body.

Causes cab be Consumption of  too much caffeine ,Dehydration can cause muscle contraction and twitching, especially in the body's larger muscles

A single muscle twitch has three components. The latent period, or lag phase, the contraction phase, and the relaxation phase
