First, enter the data in excel sheet

Enter x data from A1 to A11 and y data from B1 to B11

(A) use excel function COVARIANCE.S

select x data as array1 and y data as array2, we get

Covariance =COVARIANCE.S(A1:A11,B1:B11)

or covariance = 64.836

(B) use excel function CORREL to find correlation coefficient

select x data as array1 and y data as array2, we get

r = CORREL(A1:A11,B1:B11)

r = 1.00 (2 decimals)

(C) We have observed a correlation coefficient of 1.00, this means that there is very strong positive correlation correlation. We can say that we have a perfect positive correlation between x and y data values.
