First degree burn or superficial burn characterised by redness or pain such as sun burn.

First degree burn cause redness and mild pain .these are on the outer layer of skin and does not affect underlying tissues. Sun' s ultraviolet radiation cause first degree burn.

2. Second degree burn often causes pain and blistering of skin.

Second degree burn destroy epidermis and dermis. It appears red swollen and painful

3. Thrid degree burn causes the little pain and destroy nerves in underlying tissue.

Third degree burn destroy epidermis and dermis and lead to damage ogf underlying nerves ,muscles, tendons.
