Answer #1

Ans- Ependymal cells

Glial cells support the neurons and maintain their environment. Glial cells of central nervous system include oligodendrocytes, astrocytes, ependymal cells and microglial cells. Satellite glia are glial cells in peripheral nervous system.

Satellite glia provide nutrients and structural support to the neurons in PNS. Oligodendrocytes forms myelin around axon in CNS. It is different from PNS where Schwann cells forms myelin. Microglia scavange and degrade dead cells and protect the brain from microorganisms. While ependymal cells lines the ventricles of brain and central canal of spinal cord. They are involved in formation of cerebrospinal fluid ,which serves as cushion for the brain and is a component of choroid plexus.
