Answer #1

We know that

E.F = Te + tij

Te = Earliest occurence time = 0 (for A)

tij = duration = 5 (for A)

E.F of A = 5

E.F of B = 5 + 6 = 11

E.F of D = 5 + 8 = 13

E.F of C = 13 + 1 = 14 (max)

Also

L.F = Tl - tij

Tl for C = 14

L.F of C = 14

L.F of D = 14 -1 = 13

L.F of B = 14 - 1 = 13

L.F of A = 13 - 8 = 5 (min)

Also we have

E.S = E.F - tij

L.S = L.F - tij

Total float = L.S - E.S

= L.F - E.F

Following diagram can be drawn for the network E.S duration Activity L.S total NoatL.F 13 1 P& 13 13 0 14 Critical path is ADC along which total float is zero 13
