How do you recommend updating a network of 50 computers connected to 10Mbps Hubs that has poor network reponse due to collisions ocurring during long file transfers between clients and servers?

Our problem is updating a network of 50 computers connected to 10Mbps Hubs that has poor network reponse due to collisions ocurring during long file transfers between clients and servers.

In my view They could set up 5 different offices of 10 stations. Each set of 10 would be connectedto one 100 Mbps switch and form a physical star. Each of these switches can be connected to acentral hub that would connect all of the switches together and then connect to the server
