1. Fatty acids cross the apical membrane of small intestine by diffusion

                                   and also by protein transporter

2. Bile salts from the liver enhance the fat digestion and uptake

                          bile salts emulsifies the fat, so that it is responsible for fat digestion and absorption

3. A blocker of protein synthesis in the small intestinal epithelia inhibits the fat absorption.
