we get, (+1) + (+1) + (2y) + 4(-2) = 0 ......[ H is +1 , Na is +1 , each O is -2]

or, y = +3

2. Let oxidation no of As in this compound is y.

we get, (+1) + (y) + 3(-2) = -2 ...........[ H is +1 , each O is -2]

or, y = +3
