Answer #1

It is true that the way we are marching forward is severe affects the present world and makes it vulnerable in all its terms. As far as the ecological crisis is concerned it is related to the human activities which are as follows:

  • Cutting down a vast number of trees for the developmental projects
  • Making big dams and altering the ecology
  • By the burning of the huge amount of fossil fuels
  • By the use of huge amount of energy sources which is altering the natural environment and many more.

Yes, dealing with the ecological crisis is an ethical issue due to the following reasons:

  • Because it is concerned with all the different aspects of life and its connections
  • It affects all the living and non-living creatures
  • Most importantly, directly or indirectly everything is connected in the ecology
  • Any disturbance may lead to a huge imbalance in the ecology and many more.

Global warming is one of the serious ecological issues of the present time because it is severely affecting the present world in its deadliest way and affecting all the different stakeholders.

Only one religion can change this and that is Buddhism because it is a natural way of life that respects nature and its surroundings and make it rich in all its terms and this is the only region that will never harm nature for serving religious purposes.
