Answer #1

Answer :-1) e all of the above filtration or the ultrafiltration is the process of filtration of the blood through the filtration membrane which is made up of endothelial of afferent arteriole , Membranes of Bowman's capsule and a space between them . Podocytes or the filtration cells plays an important role in the filtration of the blood . Reabsorption is the absorption of ions and water that is important for the concentration of the urine . And to reduces the amount of water passing in the form of urine . Secretion is important for the maintainence of ionic and pH balance in the body .

Answer :- 2) Glomerular filtration rate determines How well the kidney is functioning . Glomerular filtration rate is 125ml per min or 180 litres per day . It is measured by creatinine clearance or urea clearance method .

Answer :-3) e) all of the above . The angiotensinogen in the blood is converted into angiotensin l which is further converted into angiotensin ll in the presence of angiotensinogen converting enzyme . Angiotensin II stimulates the adrenal gland to release aldosterone. Which increases the reabsorption of sodium and water from the latter parts of the tubules.
