The equation of the fitted line is

Y = -14.64 + 7.431 X

bo = -14.64 , is the intercept term

b1 = 7.431 ,is the slope term also called regression coefficient.

From the scatter plot we can say that there is a strong and positive linear relationship between X and Y .

From the residual plot we observe that data is distributed randomly , so variance is constant.

R - square = 0.919 which is good , hence fitted model is good .

Residual are distributed normally.
