Mass of 61

showed two peaks at 136 and 138 in ratio 1 : 1, confirms Br-isotopes present (79 and 81 mass number)

IR of 60

showed peak at 3350 cm-1 for O-H stretch

1780 cm-1 for C=O stretch

1500-1600 cm-1 for C=C stretch
