NaOH diethyl ether extraction the compound F forms sodium salt which goes to the aqueous layer where as the compound G is in diethyl ether layer i.e, organic layer. From the organic layer evoporati on we can collect compound G and the acid treatment of aqeous layer followed by the extraction with solvent and evoporati on to get compound F 4. silica gel column chromatography since compound F is more polar (because it contains polar group -OH)than the compound G during column chromotography compound G will come first after that compound F will come B.
