Weak abdominal muscles can cause pain in the lower back. This is because the abdominal muscles support your spine. Maintaining a neutral spine while sitting or standing is important for maintaining spine health. Lack of abdominal strength can lead to pelvic tilt. A weak core can cause a bad posture, as the shoulder is not able to stand or sit upright. Weakened muscles if the abdominal muscles lead to curvature of spine due to destabilizing.
