Answer #1

Answer) The main functions of the pelvic diaphragm are as follows:

1) SUPPORTING of the abdominal and pelvic structures.

2) MAINENANCE of the activity of urination and defecation and their controlling motions

3) Aids in giving birth to the child.

The muscles in that area are as follows :

1) Levator ani

2) Coccygeus mucle

3)The connective tissue surrounding it.

When the muscle tone of these gets altered, the activity that each of these does also gets compromised

1) When the tonicity of the Levatpor ani occurs, it has a major effect on the act of urination and urinary control, it can occur due to any kind of injury, even occurs during child birth. Therefore one will be able to notice incontinence of the urinary flow.

2) Coccygeal muscle.

This muscle aids in preserving the pelvic organs , including the uterus, so an inconsistency or disturbancve in the tonicity of this mucle makes difficult for the pregnant women to deliver at the time of her preganancy.

Also there is a problem is defecationm process much like urination.

I hope i was able to help you with the answer !:)
