Well software companies might have legal obligations to disclose data of the user.
This depends on the undertaking you signed before using the software, as generally people skip that part due to which software companies take advantages of such loopholes.
The policies can me modified on term to term basis on the basis of the user activity which you reminded off but we generally ignore it as we don’t bothersome to read it.

Well if my data is being disclosed by the software company then I have a legal right to question the company that why my data is disclosed in public without my prior knowledge.
You can even file defamation case against the organisation if you feel like the software company is violating your rights on disclosing your data in public for their own benefit.
Still if you have the legal obligation then nothing can be done, due to this everyone is advised to read the terms and condition before use of software.
