male cone contains microspores release pollen grain, female cone consist of megaspore which produces ovules. pollen tube develops from pollen grain and pollen grain develop into two sperm cells by mitosis, one sperm cell unite with the egg cells during fertilization. once ovule has been fertilized,it rows into an embryo, diploid sporophyte develops enclosed by a seed coat made up of three tissue- seed coat,gametophyte end embryo.
