Question

Project Requirements: 1. Based on the schematic approach indicated below, determine capacitances Cl and C2 and an ideal OP AMP configuration that will result in a band pass circuit having a maximum gain of 12 dB with -3dB frequencies at 10 Hz and 2000 Hz The OP AMP circuit should not produce any phase shift. In the OP AMP circuit dont use any discrete resistor values less than K2. In this design, Ti(s) is to be the transfer function of the network containing Ri and C1. T2(s) is to be the transfer function of the network containing R2 and C2 C1 OP AMP CIRCUIT 7 500 Ω | C2 0 2. The transfer function T(s) of the entire network should have the form 7(s)-yo-constant × T1(s) × T(s). Express T(s) in terms of variables R. C1, R2, C2 and the appropriate constant Vi(s) 3. Plot the frequency response magnitude, VoVi, expressed in dB vs logiod frequency). The frequency range covered on the plot should include the response over the 1 Hz to 20000 Hz range. Be sure the plot is clearly labeled Ifa maximum gain of 0dB were required in the pass band with the same -3 dB frequencies as in part 1 above, could the OP AMP configuration be eliminated by directly connecting the two wires from the above determined input-side RC network to the output-side RC nctwork? Justify your answer 4. 5. Plot the part 4 magnitude, VoVi,expressed in dB vs logiol frequency) from 1 Hz to 20000 Hz. What are the dB values of this plot at 10 Hz, 100 Hz and 2000 Hz?
