 embedded into a block which is placed on a trolley, as shown in Figure QI(b). 

 The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the trolley is 0.45. The 

 mass of the block and the trolley is 6 kg and 5 kg respectively. The trolley rolls 

 freely on the floor. 

 i. Determine the final velocity of the system. 

 ii. Determine the kinetic energy of the system just after Impact. 

 iii. Determine the final kinetic energy of the system. 

 iv. Determine the final position of the block on the trolley.
