Ans (a) Increasing order of radius

F < N < Zn < Ca

Fluorine size is smallest because it's belong to period 2 and has more outermost electron that leads to high nucleus to electron interaction. Can size will be more due to only two electrons in outermost shell hence less nucleus electron interaction.

(b) Ar < Ca2+ < Cl-< S2-

Greater the negative charge more will be electron electron repulsion and hence size increases.
