South asian working class people include new immigrants from the countires such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan,Bhutan and Nepal.

The struggles of these new immigrants and that of African Americans is similar in many aspects. Both face discrimination at workplace, societal norms of beauty and access to rights.

Thus it is not only possible but essential for both of these popluation to come together and fight side by side.
