The main aim of lean operations is to use very few resources to produce products that lead to having greater customer satisfaction. It also aims to reduce and eliminate waste from the manufacturing processes. Due to high efficiency, customers get greater satisfaction which ultimately leads to a reduction of costs. As efficiency is increased, material handling would be improved.
